Is it possible to overreact to a 120-88 loss in Game Five, Round Two, at the Q? For the first time, I heard Cleveland fans booing our beloved Cavs...Best win record, best rebounding team, we love our guys...They, like the NBA itself, care; they give back...LeBron James, the best player in the league, in the world, possibly ever, could have been born anywhere...Could have played anywhere...But LB Jimmy is northeast Ohio born and bred...He learned the game here and he plays the game here...He awes the world from here.A 10-story Witness poster downtown stands as a perpetual group hug...We're proud of our team; we're proud of our city...And we suffered a terrible loss...An embarrassing loss watched around the world in a game anticipated for months...Years...20,562 were primed...We believe...Yes, we can...This is our year...Hands holding home made posters shook with excitement...And then disbelief...Cheers turned to boos...Boos...For a team that has given this city so much - renewed pride, hope, world recognition...A team that won 61 of 82 games during the season and has two more chances to save this series.
